Tribunal maintains anti-dumping duty on steel grating from China

April 21, 2016

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced, on April 18, the continuation of its April 2011 finding concerning the dumping and subsidizing of steel grating from China.

The Tribunal found that a return of the dumping and subsidizing of the subject goods China were likely to result in injury to Canadian industry. Anti-dumping and countervailing duties will continue to apply to imports of these products.

Last December the Canada Border Services Agency had determined that the expiry of the findings was likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping and subsidizing of the subject goods.
