Canada Border Services Agency's (CBSA) eManifest initiative requires highway carriers to electronically transmit manifest information.
The cargo and conveyance data must be received and validated by the CBSA a minimum of one hour before the shipment arrives at the border.
Carriers who do not comply with eManifest requirements could be issued costly monetary penalties.
To help carriers achieve compliance to the mandatory eManifest requirements, the CBSA keeps adding dates to some of its live eManifest presentations.
The live webinar eManifest Portal Demonstration for Highway Carriers: Working in the Portal is still held once a month.
