Tribunal to decide if certain fasteners should be exempt from anti-dumping duty

September 1st, 2016

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal initiated an interim review of its January 2015 order which imposed anti-dumping and/or countervailing duties on certain carbon steel fasteners originating in or exported from China and Chinese Taipei (Taiwan).

The purpose of this interim review is to determine if the findings should be modified to exclude a product identified by a Quebec producer of mechanical components.

Each person or government wishing to participate in the interim review must file a notice of participation with the Tribunal on or before noon on September 13, 2016.
