The Government of Canada is seeking the input of interested parties pursuant to the provisions of the Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act, which entered into force on August 15, 2011.
The Implementation Act requires the Minister for International Trade to publish a report reviewing how actions taken by the Government of Canada in the context of the Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement impact human rights in Canada and Colombia.
Interested parties are invited to provide written submissions to help inform the analysis of the impact of the actions taken under the Implementation Act being developed for the Government of Canada's 2017 annual report. The 2017 annual report will cover the period from January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2016.
