The Canada Border Services Agency announced on April 3, 2017 that it made a final determination of dumping with respect to certain concrete reinforcing bar originating in or exported from Belarus, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Portugal and Spain.
The Canadian International Trade Tribunal is continuing its inquiry into the injury that could be caused to the domestic industry by the dumping of the reinforcing bars and will issue its order or finding by May 3, 2017.
Provisional duties will continue to apply on imports of subject goods, at rates of up to 108.5%, until the date of the Tribunal's order or finding.
